Twos

Age: 2 Years

The twos program is designed to promote independence through a combination of child-directed and teacher-directed activities throughout the day. This stage is crucial for developing self-help skills, and our dedicated teachers focus on nurturing these abilities to help children grow into confident and self-reliant individuals.

In this program, children learn essential self-help skills such as eating independently, potty training, hand washing, tidying up their toys, pushing in chairs, and selecting their favorite activities. These daily routines not only teach responsibility but also foster a sense of independence. By giving children choices and small chores, we help them understand the importance of taking care of their belongings and contributing to their environment.

Our curriculum includes a variety of engaging activities that lay the groundwork for pre-reading and pre-math skills. Songs, stories, signing games, and activities like counting, matching, and sorting are integral parts of our daily schedule. These activities are designed to be fun and interactive, encouraging children to explore and learn through play. By integrating these foundational skills early on, we prepare children for future academic success.

Teachers play a vital role in encouraging social interactions and cooperative play. We emphasize the importance of participating together and taking turns, ensuring that every child feels valued and respected. Through these interactions, children learn important social skills, including manners and empathy. Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel confident to express themselves and interact with their peers.

We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of each child. Our twos program is carefully crafted to meet the unique needs of two-year-olds, helping them build a strong foundation for their future learning and growth.
